Reflecting on his journey in showbiz, Vivek highlighted the difficulties he faced, especially when his films didn’t fare well at the box office. Despite initial success, the actor found himself grappling with the harsh reality of a fluctuating career. Sharing his experiences in a recent interview, Vivek spoke about the advice he would give to his younger self, emphasizing the transient nature of success.

To the hypothetical “young Vivek Oberoi,” he offered words of wisdom: “Don’t take stress about anything, and when you feel that it is the end of the world, it is not because everything is transient. Nothing is permanent. Today there is success, tomorrow it is gone. Chill, relax, and enjoy.” This advice stems from Vivek’s own struggles, during which he wasted considerable time succumbing to stress and pressure.
The actor candidly revealed that he had slipped into depression at a point when people around him prophesied the end of his career. Recalling the difficult phase, he expressed disbelief at the notion that his career could be over so soon. However, Vivek acknowledged the impermanence of setbacks and emphasized the need to embrace the ebb and flow of life.
Despite the challenging times, Vivek Oberoi has now adopted a more resilient mindset. He shared that, with the grace of God, he currently receives more work opportunities than he can accommodate. The actor expressed gratitude for the abundance of projects and revealed that he now chooses roles based on their suitability and ability to challenge him as an actor.
