The film stars Siddhant Chaturvedi alongside Triptii, and the duo’s chemistry has already created a buzz online. In an earlier interview with IANS, Triptii had high praise for her co-star, calling his performance in ‘Dhadak 2’ the best of his career so far.

Reflecting on their time on set, Triptii said, “It was honestly wonderful. He’s such a dedicated and sincere actor.” She jokingly added, “Though I’ve been paid to say this, the money will be transferred after the first of August!” before getting serious again. “He’s poured his heart and soul into the role. When I watched the film for the first time, I immediately called him and told him, ‘This is the best performance of your career so far.’ And I truly hope the audience sees that too.”

Siddhant plays Nilesh in the film, a role Triptii believes he handled with honesty and emotional depth.

Directed by Shazia Iqbal, ‘Dhadak 2’ is not a continuation of the 2018 film starring Janhvi Kapoor and Ishaan Khatter, but a standalone love story that explores new characters and a different narrative.
