Meanwhile, Irrfan is trying his hands on web series and will be seen in Amazon India’s next original series titled The Ministry. The show will be conceptualised and produced by All India Bakchod (AIB). It will be a satire in which Irrfan will play a self-obsessed Bollywood actor who’s appointed as the cultural minister.
In his past projects with AIB, Irrfan Khan had first teamed up for the Every Bollywood Party Song video which went viral, hitting 10 million views on YouTube. In Dank, Irrfan was significantly less popular but still managed to get around two million views.
The Ministry will be released globally on Prime Video in 2018.
