Ahan Shetty, son of Suniel Shetty, opens up about his emotional journey from ‘Sandese Aate Hain’ to ‘Ghar Kab Aaoge’ in ‘Border 2’. He calls it a full-circle moment.
Ahan Shetty just experienced one of the biggest experiences in his life. The young actor shared a reflection as he became part of the patriotic song “Ghar Kab Aaoge” from the upcoming film ‘Border 2’. For Ahan, it was a full-circle moment linking him to his father, Suniel Shetty’s legendary track “Sandese Aate Hain” from the 1999 war drama ‘Border’.
Posting a picture on Instagram with his father, Ahan held the ‘Border 2’ clapboard.
Ahan’s journey began as a child watching Suniel Shetty perform in ‘Sandese Aate Hain’. The original track sung by Sonu Nigam and Roopkumar Rathod with lyrics by Javed Akhtar featured Suniel Shetty alongside Sunny Deol, Akshaye Khanna, and Jackie Shroff. It remains one of Bollywood’s most loved war songs.

Sharing his thoughts online, Ahan wrote, “They say a picture is worth a thousand words… but I don’t have the words for this. I only know what I feel. I grew up watching my father be part of Sandese Aate Hain. Today, I find myself a part of Ghar Kab Aaoge.”
He added, “Somewhere between then and now, life quietly came full circle. This isn’t about a song or a project, it’s about time, love, and a quiet gratitude. I’ll carry it with me forever.”
