Gunmen involved in firing near Disha Patani’s house killed in police encounter

Delhi Police have detained two juveniles in connection with the early morning shooting outside the house of Bollywood actress Disha Patani in Bareilly. The teenagers were apprehended in Delhi and are now being questioned for their alleged role in the attack.
The incident took place on September 12, around 3:30 am, when two men riding a motorbike opened fire near Patani’s residence. The attackers were later identified as Ravindra and Arun, members of the Rohit Godara-Goldy Brar gang.

Following this firing, authorities immediately registered a case at Kotwali Police Station of Bareilly. The matter was treated as a high priority. This involved a coordinated operation by the Uttar Pradesh Special Task Force (STF) and Delhi Police’s Crime Intelligence Unit.

Five days after the attack, a joint operation in Ghaziabad’s Tronica City led to a shootout. During this, two active gang members were injured.
Officials confirmed both were directly involved in the firing outside Disha Patani’s home.
Pramod Singh Kushwah, Additional Commissioner of Police (Special Cell), told the media, “In a joint operation of Delhi Police Special Cell, UP STF, and Haryana STF, two active criminals of the Rohit Godara-Goldy Brar gang were injured in a shoot-out near Tronica City, Ghaziabad. Both were directly involved in the firing outside Bollywood actress Disha Patani’s residence in Bareilly.”
