Much-awaited film, A Gentleman, has made a decent start at the box office and impressed the fans with the lead pair’s chemistry and action sequence!
The film, which was released on August 25, earned Rs. 4.04 crore on its opening day and picked up on the second day with an earning of Rs. 4.34 crore. Even as the collections are not exceptional, but with competition from Bareily Ki Barfi and Toilet: Ek Prem Katha, the performance can be seen as decent.
According to reports, the film is expected to pick up on Sunday because of the good word of mouth for the realistic action sequences, the chemistry between the lead (Sidharth Malhotra and Jacqueline Fernandez) and the performances of the entire cast, including Darshan Kumar, Suniel Shetty and Rajit Kapur along the lead pair.

It’ll be interesting to see where the collections stand after the first week. Viewers have a mixed response to the movie with many suggesting that it was ‘Risky’ to meet the ‘Sundar’, ‘Susheel’, A Gentleman.
Directed by Raj and DK, A Gentleman was released on August 25.
