Maidaan Day 1 box office: 7 crore collection falls short

Anubhav Sinha’s Article 15 is doing good business at the box office. The Ayushmann Khurrana starrer has received rave reviews from critics and despite facing the Kabir Singh wave and the ongoing Cricket World Cup, the film has done exceedingly well for a film of its kind.
Film critic and trade analyst Taran Adarsh shared the film’s business on social media.
In the opening weekend, the film gathered a total of Rs. 34.21 crores, in the second weekend Rs.12 crores taking the total business to Rs. 46.21 crores on the domestic front.

In the second week, the film earned Rs. 2.65 crores on Friday, Rs. 4 crores on Saturday and Rs. 5.35 on Sunday.
Despite Marvel’s Spider-Man: Far From Home release and Kabir Singh trending in theatres, Article 15 has created a niche for itself amongst audiences.
Article 15 released on 28 June 2019 and starrs an ensemble cast of seasoned actors like Kumud Mishra, Manoj Pahwa, Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub and Sayani Gupta among others.
