Hollywood has inspired Bollywood in many ways, and the latest actor to feel inspired from one of the most acclaimed films from the west is Amyra Dastur. Her never-before-seen avatar is inspired from The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo.
The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, starring Rooney Mara in the lead role, is popular for many reasons, one of them being her quirky appearance, which apparently inspired Amyra.

Amyra, who is described as girl next door, will be seen in a different avatar in the upcoming Leena Yadav film, Rajma Chawal, which will also star Rishi Kapoor.
Rajma Chawal is a light-hearted drama about a man who falls in love with a girl who is more rebel than religious. From the first look of Amyra’s character from the film, the sweet and charming actor will be rather seen in an uncanny look sporting an undercut and lot of ink work on her body.
Amyra, who was last in Saif Ali Khan’s Kaalakaandi, also had to shave one side of her head to get into the skin of character, justifying her inspired look from the Hollywood film.
This is quite a bold move by the actor. As seen in the past, experimenting with your looks is something that is positively received by fans and critics most of the time.
Let’s hope it ends up the same for Amyra and people take notice of her dedication as an actor
