The untimely death of Bollywood superstar Sridevi shocked each one of us. The 54-year-old actress left us in a way that we will never be able to forget. On Wednesday, the last rites were performed in Mumbai which was attended by almost the whole of the film fraternity. A huge crowd of her fans gathered around her residence to get the last glimpse of the beautiful actress. After bidding farewell to the supremely talented actor, her co-star Amitabh Bachchan took to Twitter and expressed his feelings on Sridevi’s demise.

He mentioned, “Javed Akhtar narrated this to me at the funeral of Sridevi .. said it was written at the time of Guru Dutt demise; but so appropriate for today.”

Here is what Big B wrote:

On the night of Sridevi’s death Amitabh Bachchan posted a tweet saying, “Na jaane kyun, ek ajeeb si ghabrahat ho rahi hai “(Don’t know why, but I feel a kind of anxiety). Maybe, Big B had an intuition about the ill occurrence but he hasn’t spoken anything related to it.

Amitabh Bachchan and Sridevi have shared the silver screen quite a few times in Inquilaab, Aakhiri Raasta and Khuda Gawah. They were last seen together in Sridevi’s comeback film English Vinglish as Big B appeared in a cameo.
