According to reports, about 2050 students, who were selected through competitions on MyGov will be gifted with PPC kits and a certificate of appreciation from the Director, NCERT.

The Union Ministry of Education on Wednesday announced that the sixth edition of Pariksha Pe Charcha (PPC) will be held on January 27. This year ‘Pariksha Pe Charcha 2023’ will be held at Talkatora Indoor Stadium, New Delhi.

Earlier, on Tuesday Union Education and Skill Development and Entrepreneurship Minister Dharmendra Pradhan also took to Twitter to announce the Prime Minister’s interaction programme with school students, teachers and parents.

To participate in the Pariksha Pe Charcha, students were given time till December 30 to register on innovateindia.mygov.in/ppc-2023 and take part in the creative writing competition on based on a number of themes involving, Know your freedom fighters, Our culture is our pride, Save Environment for future generations, My startup dream, etc.

The competition was held for students belonging to Classes 9 to 12. Moreover, in a new initiative this time the teachers and parents were also given the chance of participating. There were five themes for teachers and three themes for parents. Themes for parents are: My Child, My Teacher, Adult Education- Making Everyone Literate, Learning and Growing Together. Themes for teachers are: Our Heritage, Enabling Learning, Environment, Education for Skilling, Lesser Curricular Load and No fear for exams, Future Educational Challenges.,

Additionally, selected questions, shortlisted by NCERT will also feature in the programme and the participants asking those questions may get an opportunity to interact with the media.

According to government sources, registrations doubled this year compared to the year 2022. About 38.80 lakh participants, students- 31.24 lakhs, teachers – 5.60 lakhs, parents – 1.95 lakhs, have registered for PPC 2023 compared to about 15.7 lakhs for PPC 2022. Students from over 150 countries, teachers from 51 countries and parents from 50 countries have also registered for PPC 2023.
