Unsatisfied with her marks, a Class 11 student allegedly shot herself to death, with her father’s licensed gun in Jind district of Haryana on Sunday.
The student, from Siwah village, was the daughter of village sarpach Vedpal Singh and studied at Indus Public School.
As per media reports, the girl shot herself after her academic results was declared on 31 March.

The police said that she shot herself as she was unsatisfied with her result. She was found dead by her father in the bathroom of the house along with the weapon, the police said.
The body of the girl was handed over to the family after post-mortem, said police, while adding that a probe has been launched.
