Ram temple donation ‘theft’: Police gets 39-hour remand of two accused
The move is aimed at allowing investigating officials to question them and help in recovering the stolen cash, valuables and other evidence.

Two men were arrested for robbing a bank employee here last month, a police official said on Tuesday.
Manish Vaishy and Ravi Sharma from Rae Bareli had robbed the bank mitra’ on May 25, said K K Gehlot, Superintendent of Police, Amethi.

A bank mitra is a representative or agent of a bank appointed to provide service to residents of an area where setting up a brick and mortar bank building is not feasible.

Vaishy and Sharma were caught from a hotel near Sandi Nagin Chauraha under police station Fursatganj in Amethi.
Two of their accomplices are at large but will be apprehended soon, the official said.
Gehlot said Rs 22,100 in cash, a laptop, two country made pistols, live cartridges and mobile phones were recovered from the duo’s possession.
