The National Highway-74 scam is hot in Uttarakhand as many beneficiary farmers provided election funds to Congress during the state assembly election. Immediately after coming to power the BJP recommended a CBI probe into the Rs 300 Crore scam.

The recommendation was made in March last year. Despite passing of a year, India’s top investigating agency is yet to take up the case. Congress constantly raise the CBI probe issue and accuse catching small fishes and not touching the big fishes involved in the scandal.
