In the meeting, a detailed assessment of ongoing projects was carried out with particular focus on the reconstruction of the Dudhey Bridge, which was destroyed in the devastating landslide in October 2025.
Suvendu Adhikari announced that a committee under the leadership of Kartik Maharaj would be tasked with evaluating names of roads, institutions and other public landmarks and recommending suitable alternatives.
Suvendu Adhikari claimed that more than Rs 324 crore had been paid to the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) in violation of established norms.
The political developments gathered pace on Monday when senior leaders, including Firhad Hakim and Aroop Biswas, were seen in the special session of the rival faction at a five star hotel in the eastern fringes of the city.
The meeting was also attended by Chief Security Officers (CSOs) of more than 40 airlines.
The campaign was led by the Director General (DG), ASI, who initiated the drive by administering the Swachhata Pledge to all officials, reinforcing the collective commitment towards cleanliness and environmental responsibility.
The CM also inaugurated a District Early Intervention Centre at the Chacha Nehru Bal Chikitsalaya, which will provide timely screening and treatment for children with developmental challenges.
Chief Minister Rekha Gupta, who chaired the meeting of the board, said that the villages are not mere symbols of tradition and culture, but the lifeline of Delhi.
The accused have been identified as Gurpreet Singh (37), Gurpreet alias Manni (30), and Gurjeet Singh (35), a senior police officer said.
