Tourists, locals pay tributes to 40 CRPF martyrs in Pulwama
They showered flower petals at the spot on the Jammu-Srinagar highway where a suicide bomber hit his explosives-laden car into a convoy of CRPF killing 40 troops.
Shimla Police on Wednesday night busted a sex racket which was being run online in the name of the escort service and arrested four persons including two women.
Police said they had received tip-off regarding sex racket being run in Mashobra under the garb of the escort service to tourists and high profile clients in Shimla.
The portal of escort service was allegedly being operated from Chandigarh and all the arrested accused were the resident of Punjab. The accused used to fix a deal and meet at a hotel in Mashobra, around 12 km from Shimla.

“The escort service had provided telephone numbers on its portal for contact, though they didn’t used to pick calls from any Himachal Pradesh,” police said.
The Shimla Police had to procure a Delhi number to contact the escort service and a deal was struck with them. The escort service allegedly agreed to meet Mashobra from where they were arrested by the police.
“Initial investigations have revealed that the accused used to supply girls only to tourists and high profile clients in Shimla and its surrounding areas,” police said.
A case has been registered in this regard and further investigations to find out the involvement of other persons are on.
