The Class 10 student from a government school in Roop Nagar had gone missing on Monday, prompting his father from Dayalpur to file a formal complaint.

A 14-year-old boy, who was reported missing from his school in Delhi, was located inside the Nanak Piao Gurudwara on Thursday, police said.

The Class 10 student from a government school in Roop Nagar had gone missing on Monday, prompting his father from Dayalpur to file a formal complaint.

During the search for the boy, the police scoured footage from nearly 60 CCTV cameras and ascertained that 0the boy was last seen in the vicinity of the Nanak Piao Gurdwara in Rana Pratap Bagh. Following intensive search in the area, he was found safe inside the gurdwara.

During questioning, the boy revealed that he had been distressed over his academic performance and made the decision to skip school. He subsequently sought shelter and food at the gurdwara.

After a proper verification process, the child was reunited with his parents. With no evidence of foul play discovered, the police have officially closed the case.
