After holding a rally in Haryana’s Hisar recently, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) convener and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, now would hold a road show in the state on 31 March.

Addressing a Press conference on Tuesday, AAP’s Haryana unit chief Naveen Jaihind said that the road show in show of strength would begin from Bahadurgarh falling in Jhajjar district and reach Kejriwal’s native place Siwani in Hisar district via Rohtak and Bhiwani.

Jaihind said that his party has eye on the vacuum left by both the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and the Congress party in Haryana politics.

He said, “Rallies of both the BJP and the Congress held in Haryana recently proved flop shows even after wasting huge money, however, the AAP’s rally in Hisar was a success despite we do not have enough resources. Our rally in Haryana has left a strong message to other political parties in the state as people here believe that the AAP could do a Delhi like miracle here too.”

Because unlike other regimes in Haryana has witnessed so far, the AAP does not believe in politics of caste, region and religion, he added.

Jaihind said that his party had also started searching for candidates for coming Parliamentary and Assembly elections. Only the honest individuals with no criminal record would be given preference by the AAP as its candidates, he added.

The AAP leader also revealed that many politicians from other parties, including the ruling BJP were in their tough and could join the AAP before the elections.

Even many sitting BJP MLAs and leaders from the Congress and the Indian National Lok Dal (INLD) congratulated us for the successful rally in Hisar and many of them likely to join us in future, he said.

Jaihind also refuted the claims of other political parties wherein it had been alleged that the AAP paid money to people to attend the Hisar rally.

Recently, on 25 March Kejriwal addressed “Haryana Bachao” rally organised by the AAP in Hisar where he announced that his party would contest the Assembly election in Haryana in 2019.

Claiming that the AAP would break Delhi’s record of winning seats in Haryana, he also played emotional card by citing his roots and place of birth in Haryana.
