Six of family killed as car rams into parked truck in Telangana
The accident occurred near Durgapuram stage in Kodada town of Suryapet district of Telangana.
A couple from Hyderabad, along with two minor daughters, killed themselves by jumping into Peddamma Cheruvu lake on Wednesday.
The deceased were identified as M Ramesh (30), a businessman; his wife Manasa (26) and their two daughters — three-year-old Gitasri and six-month-old Divija.
According to media reports, police said Ramesh’s mother had been harassing Manasa for giving birth to two daughters. Ramesh also had land disputes with his sisters. The police have registered a suspicious death case.

As per media reports, the couple had an argument with the family members, with whom they were living, and left with daughters for an undisclosed location. When they did not return, Ramesh’s brother-in-law started searching for them and later discovered his two-wheeler near the lake and alerted the police.
The bodies were recovered by the police.
Manasa’s father has lodged a complaint with the police, in which he has alleged harassment by his daughter’s in-laws as the reason for the suicide.
A case has been registered and investigations are underway, according to police.
