Himachal minister approaches speaker invoking anti-defection law against 3 MLAs
The three MLAs' petition is pending in the high court against the Speaker for not approving their resignation from the State Legislative Assembly.
Himachal Pradesh State Electricity Board (HPSEB) pensioners association is upset with the cold attitude of the management board towards their grievances.
The chief of HPSEB Pensioners association of Dehra and Jawalji unit, Amarnath Singh, said the management hardly responds to our grievances through letters and the Chairman says that only the employees are my responsibility and the one who has retired is not.
“The Supreme Court has said previously that the pension is our right and nobody can hold our income. If Electricity Board is giving us pension how can the management shrug its shoulders,” he said.

He said pension is our right no one can hold our right for any reasons. “We have worked hard throughout our service period even in tribal and hard areas of the state,” Singh said.
