With each passing day the bonding between Hardik Patel-led Patidar Anamat Andolan Samiti (PAAS) and Congress Party is strengthening.
Signals emerge with Hardik Patel openly declaring his conditional support to Congress in the ensuing Gujarat Assembly Elections since the party has been supporting Patidars. Hardik in the public meetings has mentioned that ‘he has told his community people to vote the BJP out of power’, thus indirectly hinting at his supporters to vote for Congress.
In another electoral development, the news of Hardik Patel seeking seats from Congress is also doing the rounds. Reports are emerging that the Patidar leader has asked Congress party to give 40 seats to people from his community.

There is a likelihood that Hardik Patel might be called to Delhi to discuss the proposal so that the two sides can reach an agreement. There are also talks of Kapil Sibal or Ahmed Patel travelling to Gujarat to discuss the same with the Patidar leader.
It seems that there are conditions laid down by the Patidar leader in lieu of support to the Congress.
