Don’t pay heed to rumours, use Pink Cards to travel without worry: Delhi CM to women

Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta, rejecting all the claims and rumours over the Pink Card and its single time usage within an hour’s time, asked women of the national capital to use the card and travel freely as many times as they want.

In a video message released on her social media handle, CM Gupta stated that there are some political people who are spreading misinformation as part of political propaganda regarding the Pink Cards, claiming that after using it in one bus, it does not work on another for some time period.

The CM categorically rejected such claims and asked the women of the national capital to use the Pink Card without any stress and as many times in the day as they require, and it will work.

She alleged that the false propaganda is being spread because there is no space left for any corruption in this domain as well, and the trips taken in the buses will be properly noted so that the government pays as per the trips taken and not based on any rough estimate or any such unaccounted manner.

Taking a dig at the AAP, the CM said now, they are irked with the city’s daughters being provided bicycles, then how will the Pink Card be easily accepted by them.
The CM told the women to “just tap the card for free travel and stay worry free.”
She emphasized that the women travelers can use the Pink Card freely. If they need to change the bus that they board, they can just take the other one and again tap the card, and it will work.
