The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Monday announced that the party will launch “Jan Andolan” from 14 to 22 February to expose the “failures” of the Arvind Kejriwal led Aam Aadmi party (AAP) government on development and administrative fronts and as well its “corrupt deeds” in its three years of governance in the national capital.

Addressing a press conference, BJP president Manoj Tiwari alleged that Kejriwal government’s 3 years of “corrupt rule” had pushed Delhi’s development back by 30 years and the party has become synonymous with “corruption, misconduct and dirty politics”.

Terming AAP’s “Vikas Yatra” on Sunday as “Vinash Yatra”, Tiwari said the Delhi government widely publicises both within the country and abroad about high standards of its schools and mohalla clinics but the recent reports indicating that around 69 per cent of the Delhi government schools students have failed in the pre-board school exams speaks volumes on the standards of education.

BJP media in-charge Pratyush Kanth was also present in the press conference. He later tweeted under the hashtag #3SaalDelhiBehaal: “Delhiites struggle as @ArvindKejriwal govt shutting water supply for 4-5 days. No water, traffic snarl, corrupt ministers, crumbling health system, failing school education, deteriorating air quality list is endless..”

Tiwari said most mohalla clinics today remain closed due to missing doctors or medicines. “Development stands stalled in Delhi and now this Government is known for its corrupt and anarchic Ministers and MLAs. The nexus of corruption seen between Minister Satyender Jain and the official Rishi Raj is unprecedented and proves how strong the nexus of corruption has become in this government. Corruption in rampant in all departments be it the PWD or Health,” Tiwari said.

Delhi BJP general secretary Kuljeet Singh Chahal said due to non-performance of Kejriwal Government the administration and public services have totally collapsed in the city.
Later a weekly meeting of Delhi BJP passed a resolution condemning the “anarchy, corruption and misrule” of Delhi government and discussed the programmes scheduled for exposure of Delhi government.
