Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta on Wednesday reaffirmed her government’s commitment to providing every citizen of the national capital with quality healthcare, modern infrastructure, and welfare schemes designed to ease daily life, all delivered within defined timelines.
The Delhi government hosted an inauguration to mark the launch of several key projects in health, education, energy, and social welfare on Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s 75th birthday.

Recalling PM Modi’s leadership and the Centre’s cooperation, Gupta said the Prime Minister never regarded power as a privilege but as a medium of service, which is why his birthday is observed as Seva Pakhwada (a fortnight of service).
The Chief Minister announced that over the next 15 days, 75 schemes will be dedicated to the residents of Delhi as part of the service fortnight. These will cover diverse sectors, including health, infrastructure, education, and social welfare.
She further noted that, for the first time, Delhi is witnessing such extensive cooperation from the Central Government, free from discrimination or political considerations.
Gupta urged citizens to join in building a developed Delhi, aligned with the vision of a developed India under the leadership of PM Modi.
The state government has also launched several new initiatives in sanitation, health, education, social welfare, and security—marking a significant step towards making the capital more developed, safe, and compassionate. z
