At least five schools in Delhi have received bomb threats through emails on Thursday morning, making it the third such incident of this week, prompting immediate evacuation and massive search operations by the officials.

According to the Delhi Police, the schools received calls regarding the bomb threats between 6:35 am and 7:48 am.

The schools that have been targeted include Andhra Education Society Senior Secondary School (Prasad Nagar), BGS International Public School (Dwarka Sector 5), Rao Man Singh Senior Secondary School (Chhawla), Maxfort School (Dwarka Sector 1), and Indraprastha International School (Dwarka Sector 10).

The Delhi Police, along with multiple quick-response authorities, including the bomb disposal squad and dog squad, arrived at the spot, an officer mentioned, adding that the cyber teams are working to trace the IP address of the sender.

Prior to this incident, on Wednesday, over 50 schools had received similar threats, while 30 schools had received such threats on Monday.

On both days, officials declared the threats a hoax.
