Madhya Pradesh: Two wagons of goods train carrying LPG derail in Jabalpur
According to the West Central Railway CPRO, the derailment took place while the goods train was placed for unloading.
Two coaches of a goods train derailed on Sunday near Garhmau railway station on the Jhansi-Kanpur line, disrupting rail traffic for nearly three hours.
North-Central Railway PRO Mukesh Kumar Singh said, "Around 6.05 pm, two coaches of a goods train carrying stonechips derailed near the Garhmau railway station, around 15 kms from Jhansi. Help was sent from Jhansi and normalcy was restored by 8.50 pm."
He added that the movement of five trains was affected due to the incident.
