Commuting is becoming more and more cumbersome with time as the number of private cars is increasing day by day and private cab operators are mostly not able to meet our daily requirements.
This hampers productivity and efficiency to a great extent. Hence, companies are now looking for innovative solutions that are economical as well as effective to preserve the efficiency and productivity of the employees.
Research by the University of the West of England found that every extra minute spent travelling to and from work reduces job and leisure time satisfaction, increases strain, and worsens mental health.
Therefore, corporates are taking help of companies like Routematic, shuttle, liftO, tevo to name a few, to sustain the productivity of the employees by giving them office commutation facility which would help them reach and leave office on time, assuring the wellbeing of the company and its employees.
Surajit Das, Co-founder, and CEO, Routematic informed:
Routematic is already servicing over 75,000 rides a month through 650 vehicles (450 in Pune and 200 in Bengaluru). By the end of this year, it looks to complete one lakh rides per month and operate a fleet of 1000 vehicles.
Routematic serves more than 40 companies like Cisco, Infosys, Barclays, Infosys, ZS Associates, and other IT and financial services companies. It offers a combination of 2 services – Routematic Fleet Service (Transport as a Service – TaaS) and Transport Automation Software (SaaS).
Having established itself in Pune, Routematic entered Bengaluru four months ago and plans to expand across more cities and increase its fleet size to 5,000 vehicles by the end of 2019.
