EnAble India and Bangalore International Airport Ltd. (BIAL) co-hosted the Open Sky Open Mind (OSOM) Summit and Awards 2025 at BLR Airport, offering a unique global platform to celebrate innovation, inclusion, and impact.

The summit, held on Monday, brought together airport leaders, startups, innovators, and changemakers, including persons with disabilities, to reimagine accessibility and inclusive mobility for India and the world.

Designed as an immersive, experience-led conference, OSOM 2025 highlighted how airports, technology, and universal design can create ecosystems where all individuals, regardless of ability, navigate the world with dignity and independence.
Dipesh Sutariya, Co-founder and MD of EnAble India, said, “Inclusion means business! The summit featured grassroots accessibility innovations, startup one-on-one meetings, a panel on airport accessibility, a fashion show with models with disabilities from the BLR Airport community, and an awards ceremony recognising innovators transforming accessibility in India. Global delegates from Zero Project and leaders from the disability inclusion movement also attended.

EnAble India, a non-profit for over two decades, works to promote economic independence and dignity for persons with disabilities, while BIAL aims to set global benchmarks for inclusive airports.
