Students explore war history through the lens of cinema
Cinematic endeavours wield the power to transport audiences across epochs, offering glimpses into foregone eras and shedding light on the history of human experience.
Global Music Institute has opened applications for its spring 2018 courses. It holds three semesters, namely, spring (January-April); summer (May-August) and fall (September-December).
Students can enroll either in a full-time or part-time programme. In a full-time programme, they can enroll either in one-year certificate, two-year diploma, or three-year graduate diploma.
The GMI weekend performance programme is geared towards musicians who want to pursue formal learning but whose schedules may not allow them to enroll in a full-time certificate/diploma programme. This 10-week programme is run over the weekend in the form of private instruction in their chosen performance major, lab and music theory. The music production with Ableton Live which is a 12-week course helps students to make music with Ableton Live 9, an industry standard digital audio workstation. Deadline for application is 8 January.
