Protest by BU engineering students

The engineering students of the state-backed University Institute of Technology today agitated at the Burdwan University’s administrative complex demanding a post publication review option for the candidates receiving supplementary exam papers.

The UIT students, with the given circumstances are allowed to have post publication scrutiny, which the Trinamul Congress Chhatra Parishad backed student’s union claimed, “Doesn’t allow any addition or increase of marks.” Debraj Saha, the president of the student’s union, said, “For every stream the university has maintained the PPR provision except for the engineering branch. Today, we’ve put forward our grievances to the authorities seeking their immediate intervention.”
