Madhyamik results on 2 May
The much-awaited result of this year’s Madhaymik Pariksha would be published on 2 May, the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education, today, in a notification said.
As attempts of making the Madhyamik exam question paper viral allegedly on social media by aspirants continued on the third day, today, the West Bengal Board of Secondar y Education (WBBSE) authorities sensed a ‘conspiracy’. Malda remained in the headlines for another day today, after reports of three students from the district being barred from exams came to the fore this noon. Since the commencement of the Class X board exams on 2 February, the question paper being made viral allegedly on social media once again brought the board authorities into action.
Three examinees from Malda allegedly made the history question paper viral but were traced and identified by the board. The three students, trying to remain untraceable, also allegedly blurred the embedded codes on the question paper. However, after being traced, they are said to have been barred from appearing for the remaining exams.
After today’s incident, the number of examinees being barred from appearing in the ongoing Class X exams reportedly went up to around 17 so far, most of them hailing from the district of Malda. Talking to the media over the issue, the president of the WBBSE, Ramanuj Gangopadhyay, termed it as attempts of some ‘conspiracy.’ Mr Gangopadhyay claimed that it is being done to spoil the system. By using and sacrificing few children, those trying to do such things from outside, are to be identified, reported and made to understand that the alleged leak should be theirs who are behind the conspiracy, according to the board president
