Heritage bookstore in College St set to open new outlet
Dasgupta, the well-known heritage bookstore in the city, is going to open its outlet in south Kolkata on 1 May.
Raising the eyebrows of medical experts, a 57-year-old resident of Dum Dum area tested COVID-19 positive though he had no recent travel history in the countries affected by this viral disease during the past two months.
The patient was admitted to a premier private hospital along EM Bypass in a critical condition with severe respiratory distress and high fever. He is now under a life-support system.
His swab samples were tested COVID-19 positive both at the National Institute of Communicable Disease (NICD) and SSKM hospital laboratories today. Sources in the state health department said that the patient had no history of travelling in any nCoV-affected countries recently.
