Modi, Amit Shah will not be in power In 2029, says Sanjay Raut

Uddhav Thackeray-led Shiv Sena Rajya Sabha MP and chief Sena spokesperson Sanjay Raut said here on Tuesday that Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah will not be in power in 2029.

In response to a question from media persons, Raut said, “He (Modi) is the Prime Minister of the country due to which politicians will definitely go and meet him. But, Modi and Amit Shah will not be in power in 2029. Modi is gone”.

Raut also targeted Modi’s recent Instagram video and said, “People are not watching that video much. On the contrary, whoever watched it, are criticising it”.

Speaking about why Dharmendra Pradhan was made to resign as Union Education Minister, Sanjay Raut said, “A message was sent to the Modi government from Andhra Pradesh CM Chandrababu Naidu. Naidu’s message was that there is pressure on us in our state. We are supporting the BJP government, but we (Naidu and Telugu Desam Party)) will not pay the price for it. That is why Dharmendra Pradhan was made to resign”.

Sanjay Raut criticised the lathi charge on students protesting at Jantar Mantar.

“Who gave this order to molest girls protesting at Jantar Mantar? The Home Minister of this country should come to Parliament and make a statement about why it happened. Since he even takes responsibility for splitting political parties, he can make a statement about this matter as well. The Home Minister should make a statement regarding who should take responsibility for the lathi charge at Jantar Mantar, ” Sanjay Raut said.

“Who will take responsibility for the lathi charge and torture on students who were peacefully protesting at Jantar Mantar? Prime Minister Narendra Modi should publicly apologise to the country for this entire incident,” Raut said.

Raut sharply criticised the praise given to Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan at the recent NDA meeting.

“Is Dharmendra Pradhan a martyr? What sacrifice has he made for the country? The BJP will make fun of him after a few days,” Sanjay Raut said.

Raut also criticised the incidents of question paper leaks in the state and the country.

“Today I saw that some question papers have been leaked again. All these culprits are from the BJP. The Chief Minister of Maharashtra should admit that question papers are getting leaked in the state. Maharashtra was once known as a prestigious state when it comes to education, but now the level has fallen badly,” Raut said.

When asked about the recent meeting of NCP founder Sharad Pawar with Prime Minister Modi, Sanjay Raut said, “The party led by Sharad Pawar and Supriya Sule is the original NCP and this party will never go to the BJP in the future”.

Sanjay Raut also targeted the Prime Minister regarding the plan to introduce currency notes made of plastic in India.

“Modi must have gone abroad and seen some new things. That’s why he is now introducing plastic notes in the market. But keep in mind, these notes may also be discontinued in a few days,” Sanjay Raut said sarcastically.
