The house-to-house enumeration phase of the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) is currently underway across Punjab and will continue until August 3. To facilitate the process, a one-day special camp will be organised at all polling booths across the state on Sunday, July 19, 2026, from 8 am to 2 pm, enabling electors to fill out and submit their Enumeration Forms.
Urging citizens to participate actively, Punjab Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) Anindita Mitra, IAS, appealed to electors, saying, “If you have not yet filled out your Enumeration Form, please contact your Booth Level Officer (BLO) immediately or visit your nearest polling booth during this special camp. Active public participation is vital to ensure that every eligible elector is included in the draft electoral roll, which will be published on August 13.”
