The issues pertaining to land allotment by the Delhi Development Authority (DDA) for various projects pending due to lack of coordination among various departments, causing unnecessary delays, has been taken up for resolution on the directions issued by Lieutenant Governor Sardar Taranjit Singh Sandhu.
According to officials, the move paved the way for allotting land for public infrastructure and welfare projects across the national capital.

The LG has consistently stressed seamless cooperation between all concerned stakeholders since taking over.
According to officials, the allotted land details include community halls for Sub-Registrar Offices at Dwarka Sub-city, Sector-19 and Manglapuri, 112 NOCs issued for Ayushman Arogya Mandirs, five NOCs issued for Atal Canteens, 8.5 hectares at Holambi Kalan village allotted for an E-Waste Eco Management Park, 10 acres at Ghazipur handed over to MCD, with an additional 10.4 acres allotted for expansion of Waste-to-Energy and Bio-Methanization facilities.
Projects concerning security and housing infrastructure include police stations at Dilkhush Bagh, Sagarpur, and Kishangarh, and a Forensic Science Laboratory at Narela.
Similarly, 20 hectares were allotted to DMRC at Sanoth for a Metro Depot, 16 hectares at Narela for a casting yard, 24 Fixed Compactor Transfer Station sites were allotted to MCD, land for Sewage Treatment Plants/ Sewage Pumping Stations at 8 locations, 151 bore-well clearances were issued to the Delhi Jal Board, and land was allotted for a Sewage Treatment Plant at Jaunti village, along with space for an underground tank at Sangam Vihar, given to DJB.
For projects regarding education, Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, Jwalapuri given 4.1 acres,
Schools at Shalimar Bagh (4,000 sq. m) and Karawal Nagar (1,110 sq. m) to the Delhi government’s education department.
Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, 22.43 acres, Delhi Technical University, 12.69 acres, and Central Sanskrit University, 1,200 sq. m, at the education hub in Narela.
