Newly appointed Indian National Congress Uttar Pradesh in-charge Rajendra Pal Gautam will visit Lucknow on Wednesday on his first official visit after assuming charge.
Senior Congress leaders and party workers will accord him a grand welcome at the Uttar Pradesh Congress headquarters at 5:00 p.m., a senior party leader confirmed on Tuesday.

According to the programme, Rajendra Pal Gautam will depart from New Delhi by road at 6:30 am. He is scheduled to reach the NH Toll Plaza in Mathura at 8:30 a.m., Agra at 10:00 a.m., Firozabad at 11:00 a.m., Etawah at 12:00 noon, Auraiya shortly thereafter, Surya Dhaba, Sikandra (Kanpur Dehat), at 1:30 p.m., and Ramadevi Square in Kanpur Nagar at 3:00 p.m.
He will then arrive at Hazratganj, Lucknow, at around 3:30 pm via Unnao on National Highway, where he will visit the Baba Saheb Bhimrao Ambedkar Mahasabha.
During his visit, Gautam will also pay floral tributes to the statues of Veerangna Avanti Bai Lodhi, Sardar Patel, Mahatma Gandhi, and Baba Saheb Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar.
He will subsequently reach the Uttar Pradesh Congress headquarters at 5:00 p.m. to interact with party leaders and workers.
