CBSE gives more time to Class 12 students to apply for re-evaluation, extends deadline by a day
The last date for submission of applications, which was earlier scheduled to end on June 6 at midnight, has now been pushed to June 7 at midnight.
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on Wednesday, May 13, announced the results for the Class 12 board examination. This year, the overall pass percentage has been recorded at 85.20 per cent.
Students who appeared for the examination can check and download their marksheet from the official website at results.cbse.nic.in.

Notably, the overall pass percentage in the CBSE Class 12 board examination has witnessed a decline this year compared to 88.39 per cent in 2025.

As per the official details provided, a total of 17,80,365 students registered for the Class 12 exams. Out of these, 17,68,968 had appeared and 15,07,109 students have passed it. This takes the overall pass percentage to 85.20 per cent.
Last year, a total of 14,96,307 students had passed the examination.
Compared to last time, this year the CBSE Class 12 board exams witnessed a drop of 3.19 percentage points in the overall pass percentage.

Step 1: Visit the official CBSE website at results.cbse.nic.in.
Step 2: On the homepage, click on the “Senior Secondary School Examination (Class XII) 2026” option.
Step 3: Provide your roll number, school number, admit card ID, date of birth, and security pin. Click on the ‘Submit’ button.
Step 4: The marksheet will be displayed on the screen. Download it for future reference.
