Jalandhar resort owner held for molesting trainer as CCTV goes viral

A prominent businessman from Jalandhar, identified as Honey Randhawa, the owner of White Diamond Resort, has been arrested following a molestation incident involving a female gym trainer.

The entire episode, which occurred on Friday evening around 8:00 PM at a gym near Chunmun Mall and Samvidhan Chowk, was recorded on the facility’s CCTV cameras.

The footage shows Randhawa approaching the trainer from behind while she was looking at her mobile phone and forcibly grabbing her. The victim immediately resisted the assault and confronted the businessman, who attempted to calm her down as she walked away in anger.

According to the victim, the accused engaged in obscene behavior despite the presence of many other people exercising in the gym at the time.

Witnesses expressed shock at the businessman’s actions as the trainer immediately took action by calling the 112 emergency helpline. Upon receiving the information, a police team from Division Number 6 arrived at the scene, assessed the situation, and took Randhawa into custody directly from the gym.

The Jalandhar police have confirmed that an FIR has been registered against Honey Randhawa under sections related to crimes against women.

Due to the nature of the case, the identity of the victim has been kept confidential by the authorities. Station officials noted that the CCTV evidence played a crucial role in the investigation, and legal proceedings continued late into the night following the arrest.
