Amid the ongoing controversy surrounding the marriage of a Prayagraj Mahakumbh fame blue-eyed girl from Madhya Pradesh to a Muslim man, Farmaan Khan, in Kerala, the latter has reportedly told a Madhya Pradesh Police team that she is about a month pregnant and unable to record her statement, as doctors have advised complete bed rest.
A team of the Madhya Pradesh Police is currently in Kerala investigating allegations by the girl’s family, including claims of ‘love jihad’ and that she was a minor when she married Farmaan in Kochi, Kerala, on 11 March this year.

The police are trying to record her statement to proceed with the investigation.

According to sources, Farmaan Khan has told the MP Police team that his wife is about a month pregnant and has been advised by doctors to stay home.
The MP Police team is likely to have the claim verified through a medical check-up of the girl by government health authorities in Kerala.
The girl is a resident of Maheshwar in Madhya Pradesh, where her parents currently live.
