“The objective of this initiative is to ensure that no needy household goes without basic food support. Our effort is to stand by widowed women with dignity and consistent assistance,” he said.

The foundation, established in the memory of former Chhattisgarh Governor and former Punjab minister, Balramji Dass Tandon, has been actively engaged in a range of social welfare activities, including assistance to underprivileged families, healthcare support, and community outreach programmes.

Tandon, also the president of Balramji Das Tandon Foundation, appreciated the continued efforts of volunteers and supporters who have ensured the smooth execution of the initiative over the years, even during challenging times.

Reaffirming his commitment to public service, he said such initiatives reflect a broader vision of inclusive development and social responsibility.
