Offering tourists and residents a unique opportunity to experience one of India’s most iconic ceremonial traditions, Delhi Tourism on Saturday organised the first double-decker bus tour to witness the famous Change of Guard Ceremony at Rashtrapati Bhavan.

“Delhi Tourism extends its special thanks to the authorities of Rashtrapati Bhavan for their support and coordination, which made it possible to organise this tour and facilitate visitors in witnessing the grand ceremonial tradition,” an official from the Delhi Tourism said.

The special tour will operate every Saturday at a reasonable cost, enabling visitors to comfortably witness the Change of Guard Ceremony at Rashtrapati Bhavan, which showcases the discipline, tradition, and ceremonial splendour of the President’s Bodyguard.

The inaugural tour was also attended by media representatives, influencers, and vloggers, who joined the experience and will help showcase this unique initiative to a wider audience.

The tour is being conducted using a double-decker electric bus powered by zero-emission technology, reflecting the Government of Delhi’s commitment to sustainable mobility and green tourism.

Equipped with modern amenities, advanced safety features, and a panoramic upper deck, the bus offers visitors a comfortable and immersive sightseeing experience.

In addition to this, Delhi Tourism has also introduced the “Dekho Meri Dilli” Double Decker Bus sightseeing circuit (full day), which will be operated Tuesday to Friday and Sunday, starting from Dilli Haat INA and covering key landmarks such as the National Museum, the National Gallery of Modern Art, the Pradhanmantri Sangrahalaya, and the National War Memorial, before returning to Dilli Haat INA.
