Samajwadi Party (SP) national president Akhilesh Yadav on Friday hit out at the BJP after the Rouse Avenue Court in Delhi acquitted former Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and former Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia in a CBI case related to the liquor scam. He said that those hypocrites who commit the grave sin of making false allegations against even Sanatani Shankaracharyas, sadhus, saints, and sanyasis can go to any extent to defame a government, a party, or an individual. No decent person can even imagine such conduct.

Akhilesh Yadav said that before independence, the “comrades” of the current government were in league with the enemies of the country and acted as informers against freedom fighters to send them to the gallows. Those BJP members, who have been living underground, relying on the pardons and allowances of the imperialists who enslaved the country, are now incapable of showing their faces to anyone.
