The track features Salman Khan alongside Chitrangda Singh and focuses on love, togetherness and the quiet pain of separation.
A song about love and distance
According to the team, Main Hoon captures the warmth of shared moments, laughter at home, small family joys and the comfort of being together. But it also shows the loneliness that follows when duty calls and a soldier has to leave.
Sung by Shreya Ghoshal and Ayan Lall, the song highlights the emotional contrast in the life of a soldier’s family. It moves from happy memories to silent longing, showing how relationships are tested during difficult times.
Building the film’s emotional tone
Earlier in January, the team had released another track titled Maatrubhumi. Composed by Himesh Reshammiya with lyrics by Sameer Anjaan, the patriotic number was sung by Arijit Singh and Shreya Ghoshal.
The song aimed to bring out strong feelings of pride and sacrifice. The film is produced by Salma Khan under the banner of Salman Khan Films and directed by Apoorva Lakhia.
A story rooted in real events
The teaser, released in December last year, introduced Salman Khan as an Indian Army officer. It showed him in an intense and controlled avatar, standing against harsh landscapes, freezing conditions and combat scenes.
Battle of Galwan is inspired by the 2020 Galwan Valley clash between India and China.
Release date
The film is scheduled to hit theatres on April 17. With Main Hoon now out, the film blends romance and patriotism as it gears up for its release.
