The trailer of the upcoming Saudi action film ‘7 Dogs’ dropped on Tuesday and quickly became a talking point online.
While the film promises large-scale action and an international setup, what truly caught everyone’s attention were surprise appearances by Bollywood stars Salman Khan and Sanjay Dutt.
Directed by Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah, best known for Bad Boys for Life, the film aims to deliver slick, high-energy action and the unexpected cameos have only added to the excitement.
Salman Khan’s stylish entry
Although the makers have kept details of the two actors’ roles under wraps, the trailer hints that their screen time is more than just a blink-and-miss appearance.
Salman Khan is seen in a crisp suit, wearing a confident smirk as he delivers the line, “You know what he does? He documents his whole life.”

Fans flood social media
Soon after the trailer release, Salman Khan’s fans took to social media to express their excitement. One fan commented in Arabic on Instagram, “All the enthusiasm for the most luxurious appearance ever of our beloved, the legend Salman Khan with the strongest Egypt star Az Wakareem.”
On YouTube, the comments section was equally enthusiastic, with one user writing, “Here only for Salman Khan, eagerly waiting to watch him on the big screen, it’s superrrrrr.”
An international cast and gripping plot
‘7 Dogs’ stars Karim Abdel-Aziz and Ahmed Ezz in lead roles, along with Italian actress Monica Bellucci. The action thriller revolves around a dangerous mission to stop a new drug from spreading rapidly across the Middle East.
The story is written by Turki Al-Sheikh, chairman of Saudi Arabia’s General Entertainment Authority, who earlier penned the Saudi series The Eight.
Salman Khan and Sanjay Dutt reportedly shot their portions for the film in February last year.
Release details
With global filmmakers, a multi-country cast and surprise Bollywood appearances, ‘7 Dogs’ is shaping up to be one of the region’s most ambitious action films. The movie is expected to hit screens later this year.
A film poster. A turquoise bracelet. A legal notice that has reopened a 28-year-old wound. Salman Khan's most notorious court case is now the subject of a Bollywood film, and he is doing everything he can to stop it.
The makers are not blinking.
Shroff was on the sets of 'Falak' when he first saw Salman's photographs. He picked them up, walked to Subhash Ghai, and was told no. He walked to the next director anyway.
The sets were never built. The cameras never rolled. Yet 'Don 3' has managed to become one of Bollywood's most dramatic productions, playing out not on screen, but in boardrooms, federation offices, and now, in a phone call from Salman Khan.
