Debunking the ‘double engine Sarkar’ claim of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin has said that the model is a worn-out one consigned to waste and will never take off in the Dravidian heartland.

“Tamil Nadu will never succumb to the arrogance of Delhi. Though you can hide the betrayals perpetrated by the BJP to Tamil and Tamil Nadu, the people of the state will never ever forget NDA Betrays Tamil Nadu,” Stalin asserted in a social media post, reacting to Modi’s speech at the NDA rally.

“Hon’ble Prime Minister, Tamil Nadu has achieved historic growth by overcoming all the hurdles placed by the Union BJP government. Please think a while… It is Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Telangana, Karnataka and West Bengal that have not allowed entry to your dubious double engine, which have leapfrogged in development unlike Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh and Bihar, the models for the double engine,” said his post.
