Samajwadi Party President Akhilesh Yadav has said that every person who follows Jagat Guru Shankaracharya is saddened today, and their feelings have been deeply hurt by the insult to him and to Sanatan Dharma.

Yadav said, in fact, the irreligious BJP members and their power-hungry associates want to seize control of every kind of power, which is why they are even demanding documents from those whose Sanatani tradition has been continuing since before the invention of paper.

In a statement here on Friday, the SP president said that the BJP’s dream of the ‘end of Sanatan Dharma’ will never be fulfilled. “Whether it is the case of insulting the ‘saints, sadhus, and mahatmas’ in Prayagraj or the disrespectful demolition of the heritage of the revered Ahilya Devi Holkar in Kashi, all of this is a deep conspiracy by the BJP and its associates to destroy the ‘Sanatani tradition’,” he added.

Yadav said that the public is now waking up and speaking out openly against the BJP government. The deceptive nature of the BJP has now been exposed to everyone, and the BJP is now on the path of decline and ultimate downfall. The power of deceit is not immortal.

He said that true followers of Sanatan Dharma are deeply saddened by the indecent and insulting mistreatment of Jagat Guru Shankaracharya and his followers by the BJP, and they are now becoming vocal. The increasing number of videos of common people supporting them on the internet indicates that public anger against the BJP’s anti-religious actions is at its peak,he added.
