4 killed, 18 injured in sleeper bus–truck collision in Sikar district
The ill-fated sleeper coach was heading to Jaipur when it rammed into a truck coming from the opposite direction on the Bikaner–Jaipur Highway.
The group of women was returning home after attending a condolence meeting in nearby Laxmangarh town when the mishap took place. The victims, members of an extended family, hailed from Fatehpur.

As many as six women were killed and three others injured in a massive collision between a car and a truck along Harsawa village on Jaipur Bikaner Highway near Fatehpur in Sikar district Wednesday.
The group of women was returning home after attending a condolence meeting in nearby Laxmangarh town when the mishap took place. The victims, members of an extended family, hailed from Fatehpur.

The accident occurred at around 4 pm on Wednesday when the driver lost control of the car at a road diversion and rammed into the truck, a police spokesman said.

The injured were rushed to the Trauma Center at Fatehpur where they were referred to the medical college hospital at Sikar. The driver of the car, who was also seriously injured in the accident, was sent to the Higher Center for critical care.
