Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Kurukshetra, Haryana, on Tuesday, November 25, to inaugurate the newly constructed ‘Panchjanya’, a monumental tribute to the sacred conch of Lord Krishna, the government announced on Monday.

The Prime Minister’s itinerary includes a visit to the Mahabharata Anubhav Kendra, an immersive experiential centre showcasing pivotal episodes from the Mahabharata, celebrating its lasting cultural and spiritual legacy.

At approximately 4:30 PM, PM Modi will participate in a special programme marking the 350th Shaheedi Diwas of Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji, the revered ninth Sikh Guru. The occasion will see the release of a special coin and commemorative stamp, with PM Modi addressing attendees as part of the year-long national observance dedicated to the Guru’s martyrdom.

Later in the evening, around 5:45 PM, PM Modi will perform darshan and pooja at the Brahma Sarovar, one of India’s holiest pilgrimage sites, linked with the divine revelation of the Srimad Bhagavad Gita. His visit coincides with the ongoing International Gita Mahotsav, being celebrated in Kurukshetra from November 15 to December 5.

The Prime Minister’s visit highlights India’s rich spiritual heritage and honours significant historical and religious milestones, reinforcing Kurukshetra’s role as a beacon of Indian culture and faith.
