Germany is one of India’s key partners in Europe, and the two nations have been collaborating on several strategic initiatives, including the Green Hydrogen Partnership.

The leaders discussed ways to further strengthen cooperation in electric mobility, renewable energy, and Industry 4.0 technologies. They also emphasized the significance of cultural and people-to-people exchanges, with Germany being home to a sizeable Indian diaspora.

The meeting comes at a time when India is looking to bolster its engagement with European countries, with Germany serving as a central partner in the region. Both sides are expected to work closely on initiatives such as the India–EU Free Trade Agreement and broader Indo-Pacific cooperation.
