Swara Bhasker, popular for her films like ‘Veere Di Wedding’ and ‘Anaarkali of Aarah’, recently wrapped up her journey on the reality show ‘Pati Patni Aur Panga’. The actress says the experience turned out to be far more emotional and meaningful than she had ever imagined. It even ended up changing the way she views her marriage with husband Fahad Ahmad.
In a conversation with IANS, Swara shared that when she first signed up for the show, she expected it to be lighthearted and fun. But what unfolded was something deeply personal and eye-opening.

“Honestly, I never thought ‘Pati Patni Aur Panga’ would be so close to my heart,” she said. “I thought it would just be full of fun moments, but it became something real and emotional. It helped me see my relationship in a completely new light.”

The show which brings real-life couples together to take on different relationship challenges offered Swara Bhasker and Fahad Ahmad a rare chance to understand each other more deeply. She admitted that every challenge tested their patience, ultimately bringing them closer.
“Every task brought us together,” she explained. “We saw new sides of each other and realized how much effort, love, and patience go into making a relationship truly work. It was never about competition. It was about connection.”

Swara also spoke about the atmosphere on set describing it as “a rollercoaster of emotions.” Surrounded by other couples navigating their own unique journeys, she found comfort and inspiration in the authenticity around her.
“There was laughter, there were tears, and there were beautiful lessons,” she said. “No relationship is perfect. And that’s exactly what makes it so special.”
The actress also mentioned that she formed genuine friendships with her fellow participants. “We came as strangers but left as one big family,” she smiled. “Everyone had their own story. It was so touching to see how much love and effort people put into their relationships.”
As she bid farewell to the show, Swara said she walked away with priceless memories and a deeper understanding of love and partnership. “I joined ‘Pati Patni Aur Panga’ thinking it would just be another reality show,” she reflected, “but I left with lessons and moments. These will stay with me forever. Love isn’t about being perfect. It’s about growing together and understanding each other, and holding on through every high and low.”
