Cockroach Janta Party founding president Abhijeet Dipke on Sunday said that the peaceful protest at Jantar Mantar yesterday was just a trailer and warned of widespread protests on the ground if Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan doesn’t resign in seven days.
“Yesterday, thousands of us made history. Our peaceful protest at Jantar Mantar showed the government a trailer of what cockroaches are capable of when we unite,” Dipke said on X.

He thanked the supporters who ensured the protest at Jantar Mantar remained peaceful, adding that the “cockroaches” don’t need to fear the government.
“The government cannot touch a unified, peaceful movement. Us cockroaches don’t ever need to fear them,” he said.
He further hinted that his outfit will continue to fight until the resignation of Pradhan over the NEET paper leak and other examination-related discrepancies.
“…this doesn’t end here. Dharmendra Pradhan has wronged an entire generation. If he is not removed or does not step down within the next 7 days, we will be forced to continue our protest on the ground,” he added.
Dipke, who returned to India from the US on Saturday, led a large protest at Jantar Mantar in Delhi. Renowned scientist and social activist Sonam Wangchuk also joined the protest, as did thousands of others.
They all demanded the resignation of Dharmendra Pradhan and an overhaul of the country’s education system.
BJP chief’s ‘puppets’ dig
In an apparent dig at Dipke and his CJP, BJP national president Nitin Nabin said that the youth of the country will not move as “puppets” in the hands of people sitting abroad.
Without directly referring to the CJP protest, Nabin said, “Some people, sitting abroad, think that they will dictate the direction to India’s youth. But India’s youth will not move forward as puppets in the hands of a few people.”
He further stated that his party will not allow the democracy of the country to be destroyed.
“To those who want to drag this country’s youth into negative politics, I warn them that India’s youth will engage in positive politics. We will oppose on the basis of democracy, but we will not allow the standards of democracy to be destroyed,” he added.
